I want to track my progress on this journey - let's take a look at what's happened so far.
-May 2021: join Codecademy Pro and join the full stack path
-June 2021: slowly plod along with Javascript basics
-July 2021: continue to learn Javascript, slowly, because it's summer time and things are happening
-August 2021: go on family vacation - get sidetracked; then continue to learn Javascript, and take part of Class Central's free virtual web dev boot camp to learn a bit of HTML and CSS
-September 2021-October 2021: plod along with Javascript
-November 2021: start researching options to enter the tech field and attend a virtual event I happened upon in my research; learn about and apply to a local organization offering a full stack boot camp for underrepresented individuals in the tech field
-December 2021: attempt to join a group to build a side-project, group has a hard time coordinating meetings and beyond dciding on a project, falls apart over the winter holidays; notified that I'm in the boot camp starting in January *so excited*
-January 2021: getting ready for boot camp by completing so pre-course work and starting my own side-project challenge
Now, we're all caught up. I'll be back to report on what's next another day.
